Paris OG is an indica-dominant hybrid from the Headband and Lemon OG family, and Oasis Medical Seeds of Flint, Michigan, is the name tied to its biggest wins. In July 2014, the Oasis cut took first place in the Indica category at the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in Michigan.
That same year the cultivar crossed the Atlantic in concentrate form. A Paris OG Kush shatter made by Dab Vader for Oasis placed second in Amsterdam, giving one Michigan program two podium finishes in two formats inside a single season.
Headband pollinated by Lemon OG
The cross starts with Headband as the mother and Lemon OG as the pollen donor. Headband is itself a child of OG Kush and Sour Diesel, a pairing Leafly calls the power couple of cannabis. The name comes from the light pressure around the crown of the head that many smokers describe.
The other side is Lemon OG, an indica-dominant hybrid built from Las Vegas Lemon Skunk and The OG #18. It finishes in 8–10 weeks and carries caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene as its lead terpenes. Stack those two parents and Paris OG sits squarely in the OG Kush and Sour Diesel line, with an extra layer of lemon from the Skunk side.
Two 2014 podiums for Oasis Medical Seeds
The first result came on July 27, 2014, when High Times posted the Michigan Medical Cannabis Cup winners. The Indica category went to Oasis Medical Seeds for Paris OG. Weedmaps and Leafly both still point to that Michigan cup as the win that put the name on the map.
The second came in Amsterdam. In the High Times results published November 27, 2014, Paris OG Kush Shatter by Dab Vader for Oasis Medical Seeds took second in Best Import Hash (Concentrates) by a Seed Company. The entry listed its home base as Flint, Michigan, so a Midwest seed company and an extract artist shared an Amsterdam podium.
Flower in July and shatter by November is a strong run for one cut. It showed the plant carried enough resin to compete as a hash entry, not just as jarred bud.
Pavé, French Toast and the next generation
Paris OG did not stop at trophies. Leafly lists two known offspring, Pavé and French Toast. Pavé is the better-known branch: Compound Genetics crossed Paris OG with The Menthol to build it, and the result went on to anchor Compound's Pavé line.
Through Pavé, the OG Kush and Sour Diesel backbone that runs through Headband and Lemon OG gets passed into modern Compound Genetics breeding. A 2014 Michigan cup winner ends up as a working parent in a newer seed line.
Indoor grow, eight to nine weeks, OG terpenes
Weedmaps notes that Paris OG does better indoors and responds well to a hydroponic setup. Flowering runs about 8–9 weeks, in line with its Lemon OG parent. Buds come in coated with trichomes, which fits the shatter result.
Leafly lists caryophyllene, limonene and linalool as the dominant terpenes, with lab data around 22% THC and 1% CBG. Flavor lands where the family tree says it will: lemon, pine and diesel over an earthy OG base.
The effect is described as relaxing, with sleepy and tingly as the top reports, and Weedmaps adds an uplifting edge at the start. Leafly frames it as a wind-down strain, which matches the Indica category it won in Michigan.
