Pink Picasso is a hybrid bred and grown by Wonderbrett, the Long Beach cultivator built on Brett Feldman's OG Kush roots. It crosses Candyland with OZ Kush, and Wonderbrett calls it the most unique and complex hybrid in its lineup.
The strain took years to arrive. Wonderbrett made the Candyland × OZK cross in 2013 but did not find the Pink Picasso phenotype until 2017, then debuted it on October 27, 2018.
A 2018 debut at Cookies Melrose
Pink Picasso launched at the opening of the Cookies Melrose store in Hollywood. That night also marked Wonderbrett's relaunch into California's adult-use market, per a 2021 Weedmaps feature on the strains that made the brand.
Feldman told Weedmaps the team was excited to see what they had created when they first popped those seeds. The keeper became one of the colorful boxes that replaced Wonderbrett's earlier white packaging.
Candyland meets OZ Kush
Candyland is a sativa bred from Granddaddy Purple and Bay Platinum Cookies. Leafly describes compact, camouflage-colored buds with golden hairs and a thick coat of trichomes. It flowers in 7–9 weeks and performs well in a sea of green setup.
OZ Kush comes from 3rd Gen Family Farms and Terp Hogz, who crossed OG Eddy Lepp with Zkittlez. That Zkittlez side is also half of Runtz, which pairs it with Gelato. Leafly lists OZ Kush as an indica-leaning hybrid with THC around 24%.
OZ Kush shows up across Wonderbrett's modern catalog. The brand has used it in Pineapple OZK, a collaboration with B-Real, and in Lemon OZ Kush, a Clementine × OZ Kush cross sold as a live resin cartridge.
How Wonderbrett grows it
Wonderbrett grows Pink Picasso under its own California cultivation license and calls the result a balanced hybrid. It lists THC at 22–28% depending on batch and lab, with limonene, linalool, caryophyllene and myrcene as the key terpenes.
The flavor lands on sweet cotton candy, champagne and cinnamon cookies. Leafly lists the strain at 26% THC and 2% CBG, and its reviewers call out focus, creativity and body ease without heavy sedation.
Wonderbrett sells the flower at its La Brea retail store and through other California retailers. The brand shows ratings of 4.7 stars on Weedmaps and 5.0 on Leafly for the strain. Growdiaries also lists Pink Picasso as a feminized photoperiod seed under the Wonderbrett seedbank, alongside Orange Picasso.
The OG Kush legacy behind Wonderbrett
Feldman received OG Kush clones from original grower Josh D in 1997. His supply connected him with Xzibit, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and B-Real. Xzibit nicknamed him Brett The Super White Man, later shortened to Wonderbrett.
Feldman built the brand with partner Cameron Damwijk and officially launched Wonderbrett in 1998. The company runs a small-batch facility in Long Beach and a flagship store on North La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.
The brand's motto is Flavor over everything, and every strain it develops is built around a distinct taste. It expanded into New Jersey in summer 2025, taking its flavor-first catalog to a second state.
