Betty's Eddies is the fruit-chew brand of MariMed, the multistate operator headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts. Ryan Crandall, Tim Shaw and their friend Sean Crowley started it in 2014, and MariMed acquired it in 2017. The chews are vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free, built on organic fruits and vegetables and full-spectrum cannabis. In its August 12, 2026 earnings release, MariMed said Betty's Eddies remained the No. 1-selling edible brand across the company's core states.
Headset puts a number on the reach. In August 2026 the chews sat on shelves at 599 licensed dispensaries in six states, 267 of them in Massachusetts, across 207 SKUs at an average price of $17.89.
Three friends and a fruit chew
Two of the three founders help run MariMed. Shaw was chief operating officer of MariMed Advisors from 2014 and has been MariMed's COO since July 2021. Crandall joined MariMed in January 2018 as chief product officer and senior vice president of sales, ran revenue as chief revenue officer from July 2022 to March 2025, and has served as chief commercial officer since April 2025.
The brand still pays its creators. MariMed's April 23, 2026 proxy statement discloses royalties on Betty's Eddies revenue to an entity owned by Shaw and Crandall: 3% on direct sales and 1.3–2.5% on licensed sales. Those payments came to about $649,000 for 2025.
Fruit chews, not gummies
The format is the identity. Betty's Eddies are handcrafted fruit chews made with organic fruits and vegetables, and the FAQ lists sunflower lecithin in the recipe. The line is vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free. Dose per chew is set state by state, so the milligram count on a pack depends on where it was sold.
Each chew pairs full-spectrum cannabis with a supporting cast of other cannabinoids. The core menu runs like this:
- Bedtime Betty's in Raspberry Creme, with THC, CBN and CBD, and in Lemon Agave with full-spectrum cannabis.
- Take It Easy Eddies in Pineapple Orange, with THC, CBDV and CBG.
- Go Betty Go in Watermelon, with THC and THCV.
- Smashin' Passion in Passion Fruit, plus Betty Good Times in Strawberry and Peach Mango.
- Caramelt Away, a caramel made with full-spectrum hash and CBG.
Seasonal swirls and limited batches
Limited-batch chews rotate through the calendar. Berry In Love Betty, a swirled Valentine's chew with full-spectrum cannabis and CBG, landed February 5, 2026 in Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois and Delaware. On August 6, 2026 MariMed followed with Perk Up Pumpkin Spice Latte Swirl Chews at 5mg each of THC, CBC and CBG per chew, including at select Maine dispensaries.
The limited menu also carries Beachtime Betty's, Sweater Weather Betty's and Bundle Up Betty's. July 14, 2026 brought a permanent addition: Betty's Bite-A-Mins, a Tropical Smoothie chew with 30mg of CBD, full-spectrum cannabis, vitamin C, vitamin D3 and zinc. It launched in Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois, Delaware, Maine and Rhode Island.
Ice cream with Emack & Bolio's
Betty's Eddies has also gone frozen. In August 2022, MariMed and Emack & Bolio's, the Boston ice cream shop Bob Rook founded in 1975, launched cannabis-infused ice cream as an extension of the Betty's Eddies brand. Two vegan flavors, Cup O' Coffee Chip and Chocolate Sunny Days, debuted at MariMed's Panacea Wellness dispensary in Middleborough, Massachusetts.
The partnership still sits on the Betty's Eddies product menu next to the chews and caramels, a Boston scoop-shop name carried into Massachusetts dispensary freezers.
Trophies and 35 million chews
The awards came early. Betty's Eddies took Industry Innovators at the 2020 LeafLink Awards and Best Selling Medical Product at the 2021 LeafLink Awards. It won Edible of the Year at the 2020 Explore Maryland Cannabis Awards and Best Edible at the 2021 Reddit Sparkie Awards. Press followed in Forbes, Leafly, High Herstory and Vice.
Volume followed the hardware. By December 2023, MariMed counted about 35 million Betty's Eddies chews sold across six states and Puerto Rico since 2014. The brand marked its decade in operation that month with Betty's Bubbly, a limited chew made with full-spectrum cannabis and THCV.
Where Betty's Eddies sells in 2026
Betty's Eddies does not ship. The FAQ routes every order through licensed dispensaries, and the store locator lists Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. MariMed's own Thrive Dispensary stores carry the chews alongside other licensed retailers, and the company opened its 14th Thrive location, in Columbus, Ohio, on September 18, 2026.
Headset's August 2026 data ranks the brand No. 2 in Maryland edibles, No. 4 in Massachusetts edibles and No. 13 in Illinois edibles. In Massachusetts it held No. 4 from August 2025, while Camino climbed from No. 5 to No. 1 and Wyld held No. 3. Bedtime Betty's Lemon Agave 10-packs and the Raspberry Creme 2:1:1 CBD, THC and CBN chew led its sales that month.
The chews anchor a MariMed portfolio that also includes Bubby's Baked, Vibations, InHouse and Nature's Heritage. In August 2026, MariMed said its branded products had reached 85% of available storefronts on a trailing 12-month basis.
