BLEM is a Southern California indoor flower brand grown by Cali Lotus, a legacy cultivation outfit with more than 20 years of indoor experience. It sells named cuts in jars, whole-flower and infused pre-rolls, and concentrate drops made with ColdFire. Between April and September 2026 it released five cultivars.
BLEM lists California cultivation license CCL22-0001588 and distribution license C11-0001821-LIC on its site. The strain names carry the voice: Bredda, Badman, Boasy, Cyattie, Irie Acai.
Cali Lotus and two decades indoors
BLEM's team began cultivating in the early 2000s and says it keeps a high-touch approach from cultivation through final packaging. Catalyst Cannabis described BLEM in December 2023 as cultivated by Cali Lotus, a Southern California legacy company with more than 20 years of indoor experience.
The pairing shows up in the credits, too. When The Highest Critic reviewed Tangie Ting in April 2022, it listed the grower as BLEM x Cali Lotus. BLEM calls itself a craft indoor flower brand known for its genetics, and it publishes the lineage behind every cut it sells.
Unruly OG, Tangie Ting and a 24-cut library
Two strains carry the brand. Unruly is an indica built on OG Kush. Tangie Ting is a sativa built on Tangie, the line DNA Genetics bred. Both placed at the California Cannabis Awards Music Festival on October 26, 2024, at Adelanto Stadium Events Center. Tangie Ting took first in sativa flower and Unruly OG took second in indica flower, both in the dispensary products division.
The published library runs to 24 cuts. Fiyah comes from SFV OG, Rail Up from Trainwreck, Bomba from Hawgsbreath and Bredda from Biscotti. Ice Kream is E85, a Wedding Cake x Gelato 45 cross. Bluberi pairs Thin Mint GSC with DJ Short Blueberry, and Gludaz runs on GG4.
The rest of the roster reads like a menu board. Red Eye is Sunset Sherbet x Gelato 45, Irie Acai comes from Cherry Gelato, and Cherreh crosses Cherry Pie with Blackberry Kush.
Badman is Animal Cookies x Bubba Kush, Boasy is Cherry Kush x Durban Poison, Bulla comes from Wedding Cake and Cyattie from Gelato x Mochi. Bax Juice is Purple Punch and Graype is Grape Ape. Banga, Ackee, Lemon Ting, Sweetie, Gwava and Apple Ting round it out.
Casino night and the 2026 pheno hunt
In March 2026 BLEM said it had spent six months working through its latest pheno hunt. On January 28, 2026, it threw a Casino Night Pheno Testing Party in San Diego, where loyal customers ran blind tests with no strain names, no crosses and no hints. Four to six standout phenos moved on to the next stage.
The winners landed in summer 2026. BLEM Dream, a Blueberry x Haze selection, arrived July 24 as the hunt's first release, and Rude Boy, an OG Kush x LA Confidential cut, was announced the same day. Marker, an indica-dominant Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherbet hybrid, followed on July 31 as the third pick.
Two more cultivars came from outside the hunt. Pineapple, a sativa-leaning Pine Acai x Zoap hybrid, dropped April 1, 2026. Mandarin, a sativa built on an Orange Skunk cross and sold in 3.5-gram jars, followed on September 15, 2026.
ColdFire, cured resin and The Heist
BLEM's extraction collabs run through ColdFire, the Los Angeles extractor. The first, the ColdFire x BLEM Glũdaz cured resin cartridge, dropped in December 2023 as an exclusive at Catalyst Cannabis across 19 California stores. It ran on Original Glue genetics, tested at 8.4% terpenes and carried no distillate.
The two brands threw The Heist on April 15, 2026, at Wicked West in San Diego, a thank-you event for retail partners and budtenders. Teams worked 15 challenge stations, from blind product tests to strain identification and trivia, to crack a vault code. One team opened it and won $6,000 in cash.
Unruly OG Badder followed on August 18, 2026: a 1-gram cured resin badder that ColdFire extracted from BLEM's indoor Unruly OG flower. BLEM sent it to select stores in extremely limited quantities and said no follow-up drop was on the calendar.
Jars, joints and infused minis
BLEM's standard pre-rolls are single 0.75-gram joints of whole flower. On June 5, 2026, it added Infused Mini Preroll five-packs: 0.5-gram joints infused with diamonds, launched in Unruly and Tangie Ting and sold exclusively at STIIIZY stores in California.
In September 2026, the Wellgreens Pacific Beach menu in San Diego listed BLEM 3.5-gram jars at $59.99 and 10-gram jars at $124.99. Single 0.75-gram pre-rolls and infused pre-rolls ran $15, five-pack pre-rolls $44.99 and the Glũdaz cartridge $51.99. BLEM also runs limited-edition apparel capsules alongside the cannabis.
Where BLEM sells in 2026
BLEM sells through licensed California retailers, and its store locator runs deep. It lists Catalyst locations from Antioch to Belmont Shore, seven stores from The Cake House including Corona, Encinitas and San Jose, and six BUZZ shops around San Diego. Backpack Boyz, ASHE Society and Airfield Supply are on the map, too.
Every 2026 drop post points buyers to BLEM's Weedmaps brand page. The brand posts on Instagram as @blem_ca and puts event recaps on YouTube at @BLEMVIBE. Mandarin hit shelves in September 2026, and BLEM said in July 2026 that more phenos from the hunt were still in cultivation and evaluation.
