Errl Hill is a family-owned Humboldt County hash company that grows its own cannabis and turns it into live resin, live rosin and all-in-one vapes under one name. Legacy farmer Scott Harris grows the flower on his farm in the heart of Humboldt County, and the crew processes it at a licensed lab on West End Road in Arcata.

Scott Harris and a farmer-first crew
Errl Hill calls itself a single source, family farm and hash company, and it names Harris as its legacy farmer. Nugg Notes' August 19, 2025 profile names Harris as founder alongside co-owner Harry and says every jar comes from plants Scott personally cultivated on family land, processed entirely in-house.
The same profile traces the business from Arcata and Eureka to shelves in San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Oakland. It also notes that Errl Hill skipped candy-colored packaging and sterile lab imagery. The look, in Nugg Notes' words, stayed farm, freezer, press.
Living soil, flash-frozen flower
All of Errl Hill's cannabis is grown organically in living soil, the company says. At harvest, the whole crop gets flash-frozen, which is what puts the live in its live resin and solventless live rosin.
Single source means no outside biomass in the jar. Nugg Notes says the runs have covered live resin, live rosin and fresh press, all from the same farm. Live resin jars later expanded into all-in-one vapes such as Sherbert Cream Pie, per the same profile.
The Terp Stash and the wholesale menu
The Terp Stash on Errl Hill's site catalogs cultivar-specific runs. Live rosin entries include Chem D, Kush Cake, Fortune Cookie, Chicken & Waffles and Z-OG. The live resin side covers Orange Cream Pop, Ogeez, Hella Jelly, Biscotti Cupcake, Blueberry Muffin, Cookies and Cream and Squirt.
The wholesale live menu, updated in July 2026, sells 1-gram live rosin buckets in cases of 10: Honey Garlic, Kush Mints, Rainbow Jelly, Modified Grapes and Melted Ztrawberriez. Live resin buckets come in cases of 20, with Gush Mintz, OG, Cranberry Z and Ztrawberry Chocolope.
All-in-one 1-gram live resin pens ship in cases of 10 in Maple Gak, Purple Urple, Starnana, Gazzurple and Blueberry Muffin. The same sheet offers living soil, mixed-light flower from Black Bear Farms in eighths and half ounces, including Stuffed Cherry Gelato, Nerdz, Blue Zushi, Rainbow Zangria and Sticky Bunz, plus 1-gram pre-rolls. Errl Hill's Weedmaps page also files products under badder and infused pre-rolls.
Pheno hunts and genetics collabs
The homepage lines up three collaboration logos: Humboldt Seed Company, DNA Genetics and glass brand Jerome Baker. The Humboldt Seed Company work goes back years. The 2019 Emerald Cup results list ErrlHill x The Humboldt Seed Company in third place for BHO Liquid with Blueberry Muffins live resin.
In 2021, the crew ran a pheno hunt with Humboldt Seed Company that turned up Granny Candy #65, a cut Nugg Notes says went from hillside discovery to statewide drops. A collaboration with DNA Genetics produced Ztrawberriez and widened the brand's reach, Nugg Notes adds.
Plaques from the Farmers Cup
Errl Hill has stacked hardware at the Farmers Cup. Nugg Notes credits the brand with Highest Terpenes for Forbidden Cookies and second place in Solvent Dabs for Crème Brulee, and dates its run of competition wins to 2015. Flower Co. bills Errl Hill as a Cannabis Cup-winning, Humboldt-based family extraction company.
The Arcata lab and its license
The lab sits at 5655 West End Road, Unit B, in Arcata. It operates under California license DCC-10002479, a Type 7 manufacturer license first issued April 16, 2019 and active through April 16, 2027 for adult-use and medicinal products.
The Higher Origins license index, refreshed September 16, 2026, lists Randy Harris as the license owner and classifies the operation as a medium manufacturer in Humboldt County. Errl Hill's own site still prints the older CDPH-10002479 number.
Where Errl Hill sells in 2026
Errl Hill sells through licensed California dispensaries, and its vendor page recruits more. The Terp Finder, last updated in November 2025, maps shops from the North Coast to San Diego.
Up north, it lists The Ganjery in Arcata, Humboldt Premium in Eureka, Root'd In The 510 in Oakland, Berkeley Patients Group in Berkeley and Flore in San Francisco. Farther south, SLO-CAL Roots in San Luis Obispo, Golden State Greens in Anaheim, and Mankind and Dr. Greenthumb's in San Diego carry the line.
In September 2026, Flore's Castro menu listed Tollymon Banana live rosin at $60, Melted Ztrawberries live rosin at $52 and StarNanna all-in-one vapes at $45. Sacred Roots in Placerville carried live rosin at $50 a gram and live resin at $28.
