Focus V is a Torrance, California hardware company that builds electric rigs and tools for concentrates. CEO Samuel Jurist founded it in February 2015, KingsCrowd reported, and the lineup now runs from the CARTA SPORT smart rig and the AERIS portable to the SABER electric dab tool and INTELLI-CORE atomizers.
The next drop has a date. Focus V's CARTA 3 page lists an October 2026 arrival, and in September 2026 the store listed the CARTA SPORT at $235 in teal, lilac and tangerine, with black sold out.
From a 2015 start to the original CARTA
Focus V says it started in 2015 to rethink how people interact with concentrate devices. Its own timeline marks the moves: the original CARTA in 2019, the SABER dab knife in 2021, CARTA 2 with INTELLI-CORE heating and app connectivity in 2022, and the AERIS in 2023.
Global expansion and artist glass collaborations followed in 2024, and the CARTA SPORT arrived in 2025. For 2026, the timeline lists the CARTA 3 launch and development of a device called TRACER.
CARTA 2 sunset and the CARTA SPORT
Focus V stopped selling the CARTA 2 after July 2025. The company says every CARTA 2 warranty and support service stays in effect, and its V Browser app keeps sending software updates to the device. CARTA 2 glass fits the CARTA SPORT, and INTELLI-CORE atomizers work across CARTA 2, AERIS and CARTA SPORT.
The CARTA SPORT landed in early 2025. It runs a 2,700 mAh, 7.4V lithium-ion polymer battery, and Focus V rates it for up to 50 dabs per charge. A single button handles temperature, session setup and modes, and the Focus V app for iOS and Android customizes presets and delivers firmware updates.
The rig covers two lanes. Concentrate mode runs from 365°F to 635°F for 20- to 120-second sessions, and herb mode runs from 275°F to 500°F for 120 to 240 seconds, each with five presets. CARTA Connect, a removable 100% silicone airpath with built-in reclaim channels, pulls out for cleaning. The warranty runs one year, with six months on the atomizer.
AERIS, SABER and the INTELLI-CORE parts shelf
The AERIS is the take-along rig. At $150, it pairs an INTELLI-CORE oil atomizer with 360-degree heating and a full-size chamber, a 365°F to 600°F range and a swappable battery. It charges wirelessly or through USB-C passthrough, and the app controls RGB lighting, reactive heating and a leaderboard XP tracker.
The box holds a magnetic mouthpiece with a ceramic insert, a shoulder bag, a dust cap, dab swabs and a dab tool. Add-ons include AERIS bubblers at $89.99, $40 swivel kits, $20 adapter rings for the INTELLI-CORE MAX atomizer and spare batteries, which sold for $60 in September 2026.
The SABER is a $40 electric dab tool with twist-lock ceramic tips, three power levels, USB-C charging and an LED spotlight, sold in 11 colors. Replacement tips cost $5.99 for one or $14.99 for a three-pack. On the atomizer shelf, the INTELLI-CORE MAX Atomizer for Oil sold for $99 in September 2026.
Glass Cup artists and one-of-one tops
Glass is the culture play. For the 2026 Glass Cup, Focus V sold one-of-one pieces handmade by independent artists, and all 14 sold out. Habitat Glass's Killa & Friends topped the gallery at $2,600 and EF Norris's Stack Cycler went for $1,600. Biohaz Creations, Saltydog Glass, NES Glass and Makayla Jade all had entries.
The artist glass collection keeps rolling after the event. In September 2026 it listed Biohaz Creations Mushroom CARTA Tops at $500 and Dani Girl Glass AERIS Tops at $550. Sold-out work from Joey Guido, Richie Gage, Desi B., Era Glassworks and a Nope2dope x Nastee Glass collab filled out the page.
StartEngine, 3,000 retailers and $10.3 million
Focus V opened to small investors in 2024. Its StartEngine campaign ran from August 20, 2024 to April 30, 2025 and raised $425,681 at a $24.2 million valuation, KingsCrowd reported. The same report listed 2023 revenue of $10,296,804, up from $9,370,352 in 2022, and more than $50 million in lifetime revenue.
KingsCrowd also counted more than 200,000 customers, more than 3,000 retail partners, 70,000 app users and a staff of 23. Focus V's store locator covers authorized retailers across North America, Europe and Asia.
Dab Olympics, Discord and the CARTA 3 date
The community side runs deep. Focus V's blog covered the Dab Olympics in September 2025, a competition themed "The Search for the Next Iron Lung" and built around vapor retention challenges, with the CARTA SPORT in the spotlight. The brand runs a Discord server and posts as @focus.v on Instagram, @focusv710 on X and @FocusV on YouTube.
CARTA 3 is the next date on the calendar. The CARTA 3 page lists October 2026, with a waitlist open, pricing due closer to release and support for current CARTA glass.
