How the glycerin chamber works
A sealed outer chamber holds glycerin while an internal glass coil carries the smoke. The user freezes the removable chamber, and the extended path transfers heat into the cold assembly. Freeze Pipe describes glycerin as a non-toxic gel that holds cold far longer than water and will not melt into the piece, and calls for about an hour in the freezer to get roughly an hour of cooling.
Coil designs
Two coil architectures run through the catalog. The Spiral is a single looping tube, sold in 7.5-inch and 10-inch versions and cleaned monthly.
