Nasha Hash is a Humboldt County solventless cannabis company based in Arcata, California, founded by Barron Lutz. It makes ice-water hash, cold-cure live rosin, hash-infused pre-rolls, live rosin vapes and flower, all extracted without solvents from partner-farm cannabis.
Barron Lutz and the Himalayan lineage
Lutz, the company's founder and chief executive, spent years in India living at the foothills of the Himalayas studying the origins of hashish and the culture around it, then brought that practice back to Northern California. Every hash ball Nasha sells is rolled by hand. The house standard for what makes the jar is melt: in Lutz's words, if it doesn't melt it doesn't go in a Nasha jar.
How the hash is made
Nasha works solventless, using water-based separation to pull resin from whole-plant fresh-frozen cannabis. That hash is then pressed into live rosin and cured to a wet badder consistency. No hydrocarbon or CO2 solvent enters the process.
The catalog
The line covers unpressed hash, pressed hash, cold-cure live rosin, infused pre-rolls, cured and live hash-derived vapor and the Nasha Experience. The company has also launched a flower line drawn from its Humboldt growing partners.
The live rosin all-in-one vape
On 31 July 2025 Nasha released a one-gram all-in-one live rosin vape built on next-generation CCELL hardware, with a digital screen showing battery life and voltage, three heat settings, a ceramic core specified for rosin, a preheat function and USB recharging. The rosin inside is cold-water extracted from fresh-frozen, sun-grown cannabis rather than distillate.
Partner farms
Nasha works with nine Humboldt County farms and puts the grower's logo alongside its own on the product lid, so a collaborative jar names both the cultivator and the hash maker. The company describes those partners as legacy farmers working regenerative, pesticide-free ground.
