Shine Papers is a luxury smoking-accessories brand built around 24-karat edible-gold rolling papers and pre-rolled cones. Produced by Luxe 55, LLC, it became known through celebrity collaborations, tour merchandise and gift-guide coverage. It sells papers and accessories, not cannabis.

Gold paper construction

Shine's classic papers press food-grade 24K edible gold onto a smooth hemp base. They are sold in 1.25 and king size, as single sheets and in two- and six-sheet packs. The papers burn slowly and leave gold behind in the ashtray, which the brand calls the gems.

Origin

The company traces the idea to four in the morning in Vegas, after a night that ended with a gold-wrapped Black Tie Cigar and the thought that most people cannot afford one. A single gold paper put the same finish within reach of a party.

Cones, wraps and cigars

The catalog runs from the Gold Cone to Tiger Stripes and white king-size cones in eight-packs, 24K Gold Wraps and the Infinity Cigar. Tiger Stripes is also sold as a king-size paper pack.

Accessories and gift products

Shine also sells rolling trays, grinders, glass tips and apparel including hoodies, t-shirts and snapbacks, alongside bundled sets: the Launch Pack, The Brick of wraps, papers and swag, and the Ultimate Experience Briefcase.

Tyga investment and creative role

On November 25, 2014 Shine announced a $5 million deal in which the rapper Tyga invested in the brand, became its public face and took the title of creative director for new projects.

Celebrity and press milestones

Miley Cyrus commissioned custom 24K gold papers as official Bangerz Tour merchandise in 2014, covered at the time by Rolling Stone and the Daily Mail. 2 Chainz featured the papers with Dr. Dina on GQ's Most Expensivest Sh*t in 2015. Rolling Stone returned to them in a 2017 gift guide, Esquire listed them in a 2017 Best Marijuana Gifts roundup, Forbes named the King Size six-sheet pack in a 2018 rolling-papers feature, and goop placed them in its 2018 holiday gift list.

Counterfeits and intended use

Shine warns that counterfeit gold papers circulate and directs buyers to its own store and authorized retailers. Its papers and cones are sold for legal smoking herbs and to legal-age adults.

What the brand sells

Shine is an accessories company, not a cannabis cultivator, manufacturer or dispensary. Its direct catalog covers empty papers, cones, wraps, rolling tools and merchandise. Any herb shown in lifestyle imagery is separate from the purchased accessory unless a licensed retailer explicitly states otherwise. That distinction is important when the products appear beside cannabis brands or in celebrity content.

Sizes and package checks

A 1.25 paper, king-size sheet, cone and wrap have different dimensions and preparation. Multi-sheet packs and gift sets also contain different counts. Buyers can compare paper size, quantity, included tips or accessories and the seller before ordering. Gold appearance alone does not establish authenticity, particularly because the company has warned about counterfeits and directs shoppers toward its own store and authorized sellers.

Press history in context

Tyga's 2014 investment and creative-director role, Miley Cyrus tour merchandise and later gift-guide appearances explain how the brand entered luxury and celebrity culture. Those are dated milestones rather than current endorsements that renew automatically.
