Wicked Gardens LLC registered with California on December 6, 2018, entity number 201834510068, at 3048 South Market Street in Redding. Layne is listed as manager and chief executive officer, with Aleck as a manager. The filing describes the business as farming and distribution. California's registry showed the company active as of March 25, 2026.
A 5,000-square-foot indoor license in Shasta County
The grow runs on CCL19-0005012, a specialty indoor cultivation license capped at 5,000 square feet of canopy. The state issued it on January 21, 2020, and it runs to January 21, 2027. A 2020 federal docket copy of California's cultivation list logs the same number as a provisional adult-use small indoor license in Redding, Shasta County.
Wicked Gardens says its team supplied cannabis in the Emerald Triangle before legalization, then moved into licensed production in 2019 as one of the first licensed cultivation facilities in Northern California. The company describes the room as an indoor operation built small on purpose. Redding keeps it inland from the coastal counties; Ember Valley grows out of the same city.
Blue Nerdz, ADL and the rest of the menu
The products page lists Blue Nerdz, ADL, ADL 2.0, Jack Lemon, Super Runtz, Wicked Candy, Yamagucci Coochie, Blue Piranha and White Lobster. Two other California licenses sit next to the grow in state records. CA Green Distributors holds distributor license C11-0001872-LIC, active from August 14, 2023 to August 13, 2027. MMR Center Inc. holds Los Angeles County microbusiness license C12-0000097-LIC, active from June 25, 2019 to June 24, 2027, with Aleck and Glen Lavangie as owners.
Aleck also owns West Valley Patients Center, Inc., a Los Angeles County microbusiness licensed since June 13, 2019. That shop trades as West Valley Patients Center – Powered by Wicked Gardens at 23043 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, and its shelves include Raw Garden, which lists the store in its own retailer directory.
Cannawayz lists that address selling adult-use and medical cannabis with delivery, across flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, topicals and apparel. Weedmaps lists a second shop, Green Angel – Powered by Wicked Gardens.

The contact page states what the company is after: white label opportunities, packaging deals, collaborations and direct-to-consumer retail. That is why Wicked Gardens flower can appear in co-branded packaging as well as under its own label, and why the same grow feeds a retail operation in Los Angeles County. Weedmaps lists Wicked Gardens flower under microbusiness license C12-0000097-LIC, with bud entries including Biscotti, Do-Si-Dos, Gelato, Melonade, Wedding Crashers, Wicked Legend and Zookies. Higher Origins, which indexes California Department of Cannabis Control records, refreshed its Wicked Gardens entry on September 16, 2026 and showed the cultivation, distribution and microbusiness licenses all active.
The company's own site still runs a 2026 copyright and a products page built around single-cultivar flower. Redding remains the base, Layne and Aleck remain the operators, and the Woodland Hills store keeps the name on a marquee 550 miles south of the grow.
