Ember Valley is an indoor cannabis cultivator from Shasta County, working out of Shasta Lake and Redding, California. It launched in April 2019 and sells jarred flower, mylar bags and pre-rolls through three lines: Ember Valley Red, Remember Valley and Darts. In August 2026 it was hiring cultivation technicians in Shasta Lake, with the posting open through September 28, 2026.
Craft at scale in Shasta Lake
Ember Valley's own pitch is craft cannabis at scale. A 2026 hiring post puts its indoor operation at more than 110,000 square feet across two locations, producing jarred flower and pre-rolls for a connoisseur crowd. Leafly described it in 2024 as a Shasta-based, large-scale indoor grower.
Emjay, a California delivery service, broke that footprint into two 55,000-square-foot cultivation centers, one in Redding and one in Shasta Lake. Its Ember Valley profile also credited the team with testing more than 5,000 seeds and 200 strains, and with tuning growing conditions and drying and curing to each cultivar.
The company says it held the fourth legal license in the state of California. Weedmaps lists its adult-use cultivation license as CCL18-0000059. Headset's brand profile credits the founder with more than 15 years in cannabis, and the company frames itself around handpicked cultivators and genetics discovery.
Red, Remember Valley and Darts
Ember Valley Red is the brand's top-tier indoor line. The site lists Cherry Pie Zkittlez in 3.5-gram jars and 7-gram smalls mylars, plus pre-roll two-packs and THCA diamond-infused pre-roll two-packs.
Remember Valley is the heritage shelf. "In honor of the voices that tried to silence cannabis, we cultivate each old school strain with pride," the homepage reads. "Each bag is a tribute to prohibition." The line comes in 3.5-, 7- and 14-gram mylars and 1-gram pre-rolls.
Darts is the pocket format. The site lists 1-gram pre-rolls in pop tubes, a 7-gram 10-pack of cigarette-style pre-rolls and a 14-gram pre-ground kit marked as coming. Dispensary menus have carried Darts as Power Hour, Sweet Jack, Gastro Fruit, OG and Chem.
Leafly's catalog adds live resin cartridges, cured resin cartridges, cold cure rosin, 1-gram disposables and half-gram live rosin disposables. Weedmaps shows one of those as a Sherbanger live rosin disposable.
Tiger King, LA Runtz and the cultivar bench
The flower menu runs deep. Eaze lists 33 Ember Valley products, including Jack Cake, LA Runtz, Melon Fizz, Tiger King, Lemon Cherry Pie, Peaches Be Crazy, Purple Lightsaber, Wingsuit, Zerealz, Meow OG, Dirty Banana and Gelonade. Eighths list at $45, 7-gram Headmount Premium Smalls at $70 and half ounces at $150.
Leafly's brand page reaches further back, with Purple Churro, Gastro Pop, Super Lemon Haze, Pineapple Express, Purple Urkle, Rainbow Belts, Zafari and Purple Octane on the list. Pre-roll listings on Weedmaps add AMPM, Birkenz, Crossbow, Devils Triangle and East Coast Sour Diesel.
Headset tracked the sell-through. In September 2024 it ranked Ember Valley No. 27 in California flower, with 145 SKUs and more than $1 million in monthly sales. Tiger King eighths led the brand at 3,027 units, ahead of LA Runtz, Melon Fizz, Northern Fire and Dirty Banana.
Riff OG and a 2024 State Fair silver
Ember Valley took silver at the 2024 California State Fair Cannabis Awards with Riff OG. Leafly's awards guide, published June 26, 2024, traced the cultivar to Prolific Coast Seeds: two OG Kush lines, (Fire OG x Scott's OG) x PCS1.
The same guide spotted Ember Valley on Leafly menus at Herb in Los Angeles and at Bay Care and 7 Stars in the Bay Area. Riff OG itself turned up at Purple Star and Off the Charts in San Francisco.
From Marina del Rey to Santa Rosa
Marina del Rey picked it up in 2024. Xzibit's West Coast Cannabis in Marina del Rey announced on March 22, 2024 that it would carry the Red line, Remember Valley and Darts starting that April. Its launch post called out Jack Herer, Point Break, Purple Octane and Red Runtz.
Weedmaps lists 12 California pickup stores for the brand. The roster stretches from Buzz Cannabis in Wildomar and Lemon Grove and Leaf and Lion in Long Beach to Perfect Union in north Sacramento. In the Bay Area it includes Element 7 Montclair Village and NUG in San Leandro and El Cerrito. The Sweet Spot and The Cake House carry it in Santa Rosa.
The 2026 relaunch
Ember Valley planned a brand relaunch for 2026. The HERB delivery service listed no Ember Valley inventory, citing a brand relaunch expected in June 2026. Eaze still lists the brand for same-day delivery, and Weedmaps keeps the 12-store pickup roster.
The grow keeps staffing up. The Cultivation Technician I post in Shasta Lake, open through September 28, 2026, still describes a craft-at-scale producer of jarred flower and pre-rolls, seven years after the April 2019 launch.
