Kosher Glue is a Tier 1 live rosin from Punch Extracts, the solventless concentrate arm of California's Punch Edibles. The 1g hybrid jar sat at the top of Punch's tier ladder, the slot the brand reserves for rosin pressed mainly from indoor and greenhouse flower.
Menu copy at 420 Kingdom, a Kern County delivery service, describes the input as hand-harvested flower that produces 5–6 star hash. That listing now marks the jar as no longer available.
What Tier 1 means at Punch
Punch grades its rosin by the flower that goes into the wash. Tier 1 listings like Kosher Glue point to hand-harvested indoor and greenhouse material. Early coverage drew the lines more tightly. Dab Connection's January 2021 review placed indoor material in Tier 1, greenhouse in Tier 2 and outdoor, sun-grown flower in Tier 3.
The ladder has grown since. Punch's rosin page now lists four tiers, and the Weedmaps catalog adds a Silver Tier on select cold cure badders. Among current Tier 1 badders, Banana Yuzu is listed at 66.6% THC.
HashWriter's 2021 review framed Tier 1 as the premium option. Each tier came in at its own price point.
Fresh frozen flower, ice water and a press
Punch calls rosin a full-spectrum concentrate made from flower or hash. Live rosin starts with fresh frozen flower instead of cured buds, which the brand uses to hold onto terpenes. That flower is washed into hash with purified ice and water in a climate-controlled room.
The hash is then pressed through fine mesh to pull out the oil. Punch finishes its live rosin as either fresh press or cold cure badder, and states that its solventless jars carry no cutting agents or additives. Kosher Glue came off that same wash-and-press line.
How an edibles brand ended up in hash
Punch Edibles launched in 2013 with the PunchBar, a compact, high-potency chocolate bar. The company grew into a California family of brands that includes Punch Extracts, Tempo and Dr Norms. Its edibles span six lines and 30 chocolate bar varieties, sold in hundreds of dispensaries across the state. The Punch Cares Program supports California veterans.
HashWriter's February 2021 review marked the brand's turn toward solventless extraction. It covered debut jars like FatLato fresh press and Garlic Cream badder, and noted Humboldt flower as the input. The review praised Punch's open-box packaging for showing off the glass jar. Punch Extracts now calls itself a craft solventless shop. Its catalog spans rosin, vape, distillate and Rocket rosin-infused pre-rolls.
