Dope As Usual is an independent comedy interview podcast hosted by Thomas Araujo, known online as Dope As Yola, and producer Marty O'Neill. The pair trade long, unscripted conversations with recording artists, athletes, comedians, entrepreneurs and viral personalities, and the show carries official Spotify Partner Show status.
Episodes land every Tuesday. On August 11, 2026, Puffco CEO Jolly Roger sat down for "Sacred Substances & the Untold Story of Puffco."
Dope As Yola and a cannabis YouTube following
Araujo built his audience as a storyteller on YouTube, where the show's team page credits him with more than 2 million subscribers. A Market Spotlight California speaker bio calls him the first cannabis YouTuber to pass that mark.
He also founded Push Trees, a cannabis-inspired streetwear brand that won national shelf space at Zumiez. In 2021 he started The Dopest Shop, a THC alternative brand, and he has spoken at Market Spotlight California on keeping authenticity and culture intact while selling cannabis products.
Marty O'Neill and Drastic Graphics
O'Neill is producer, co-host and creative director. Originally from Buffalo, New York, he moved to Orange County in 2013 and runs Drastic Graphics, the production studio he started as a freelance operation in 2009.
Drastic Graphics has worked on campaigns for Apple, Google, Netflix and T-Mobile and on productions with Joe Rogan, Theo Von and Adam Carolla. O'Neill also wrote the book Full-Time Podcaster and has spoken at TEDx. Drastic Graphics also designed the show's website, and bookings run through Motion Mgmt.
Built without a network
The hosts built the show with no network backing, and it has grown into a video-first operation. Its team page, updated December 2025, cites more than 120 million views, more than 43 million watch hours and more than 550,000 subscribers across YouTube and Spotify.

From Tony Hawk to Wayne Brady
The guest list runs from skateboarder Tony Hawk, actor Mario Lopez and comedian Gabriel Iglesias to rapper Rob49, hip-hop group Atmosphere and comedian Big Jay Oakerson. Cannabis names include Khalifa Kush founder Wiz Khalifa and Cookies founder Berner, whose episode ran as "Billion Dollar Dreams."
The 2026 run brought comedian Luenell in June and Dave Blunts and Michael Blaustein in July. The Puffco episode followed in August, then Wayne Brady on August 25.
September added Jeremiah Watkins, The Real Franklin and Alfred Robles.
Between guests, the hosts run solo episodes. "The Return of Rant City!!" brought back the rant format in August 2026, and "Furious & Disgusted" ran without a guest in June. Recurring guest Erick Khan earned a three-hour return episode of his own.
Free members and Unrestricted
The show's site runs its own membership. A free account opens a custom profile, likes and comments, a Freebies page and a weekly newsletter.
The paid Unrestricted tier adds uncensored episodes, exclusive content, a private community and direct interaction with the hosts. The site also sells tees, hoodies, hats and accessories, and the show has its own apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
