Apple Cider Bong

Brand: Hemper Supply Co.

Price: $34.99

The Apple Cider Bong is shaped like a cider bottle, right down to the neck and shoulder, with a custom apple-shaped percolator sitting inside the chamber. It is one of HEMPER's seasonal autumn pieces and lists at $34.99.

The apple is the percolator

The apple form is not an ornament hanging in the water — it is the diffuser. Smoke is pushed through it and broken up as it passes, so the piece that carries the theme is the piece doing the filtration.

This is the distinction worth caring about on themed glass. A decorative shape suspended in the chamber adds cleaning corners and nothing else. A shaped percolator earns its place.

The bottle silhouette

A cider-bottle body gives the piece a narrow neck over a wider base, which is functionally close to a beaker: the wide section holds the water, and the narrow run to the mouthpiece keeps the draw focused.

The long neck also puts useful distance between the bowl and your mouth, so the smoke has somewhere to travel after it leaves the water.

Who it's for

This is a seasonal collector's piece that still works as an everyday bong — good for someone who rotates glass with the time of year, or wants an autumn centrepiece that is not just a novelty shape with a bare tube inside.

For other seasonal drops in the range, the Dankenstein Bong covers Halloween and the Milk and Cookies Bong takes the winter slot. The rest is on the HEMPER brand page.

Keeping it clean

Percolated glass holds resin in places a paper towel will never reach. Dump and refill the water after every couple of sessions, and give the chamber a proper soak in isopropyl and coarse salt once a week. Plug the joint and mouthpiece, shake it in short bursts rather than one long rattle, and rinse with warm — not hot — water so the glass never takes a thermal shock.
