The breeding chain starts with 18 Coffins — a Northern Lights 18 x Strawberry Diesel (Coffin Cut) line that supplies the name.
Duke of Erb selected an 18 Coffins F3 male and crossed it to Gelato 33. From that pairing he picked a male and a female, then used the male on a Zkittlez plant sourced from Freddie Biggs. That cross became Strawberry Zkilato.
Coffin Candy came one step later: a brother from the Strawberry Zkilato work was used to pollinate a Runtz/LCG cut. Duke of Erb is credited with building the line. Doja is the reason most people have heard of it — that split between who bred it and who moved it is worth keeping straight.
