GMO Crasher is a hybrid from Pacific Reserve, a Monterey County grower started by legacy industry operators. It crosses Wedding Crasher with GMO, pairing a social, daytime-leaning Symbiotic Genetics line with the GMO Cookies cut from Mamiko Seeds.
The numbers came in high early. In a March 23, 2021 review, The Highest Critic logged a Pacific Reserve batch at 29.279% THC and 35.578% total cannabinoids. A later Pacific Reserve eighth on Weedmaps lists 26.04% THC.
Wedding Crasher meets GMO Cookies
Wedding Crasher is a Symbiotic Genetics cross of Wedding Cake and Purple Punch. Leafly puts it around 21% THC and describes mostly energizing effects, with reviewers reaching for it for socializing and daytime use. Focused, relaxed and happy top its list of reported effects.
The other parent is GMO Cookies, originally bred by Mamiko Seeds from Girl Scout Cookies and Chemdawg. Leafly lists it as an indica-dominant hybrid with an 8–9 week flowering window, known for a deep body high. Reviewers pair that weight with a euphoric, mentally uplifting start.
Pacific Reserve's product listings on Leafly and Weedmaps write the cross as Wedding Crasher × GMO. The Weedmaps strain page names GMO Cookies as the second parent and credits Pacific Reserve, a California cultivator, with developing the strain.
Greenhouse flower from Monterey County
Pacific Reserve grows in greenhouses, using the sun backed by supplemental lighting. The flower goes into organic soil and gets organic inputs through the cycle. The company runs each selected phenotype several times in its own environment before anything goes on sale.
GMO Crasher has shipped as 3.5-gram eighths of flower, and it was already on California shelves by early 2021, when The Highest Critic reviewed a jar.
Light green buds with a yellow streak
The finished flower runs bright. The Highest Critic describes light green and vibrant emerald nugs with hints of yellow, in a cone-shaped mix of mid-sized buds and budlets.
A thick, sticky layer of trichomes covers the flower, with light brown pistils pushing through. Weedmaps describes the same palette, calling the buds a little fluffy and shockingly green with golden-yellow pops throughout.
GrowDiaries lists a medium-stature plant with sturdy lateral branching and moderate yields indoors with training. It gives an indoor finish of about 8–9 weeks, roughly 56–63 days, and adds a preference for warm seasons outdoors.
A spacey high that splits the classification
Nobody agrees on which way GMO Crasher leans. Pacific Reserve's own product copy on Leafly and Weedmaps calls it a sativa-leaning hybrid, and The Highest Critic files it as sativa dominant. The Weedmaps strain page lists it as an indica-dominant hybrid, and GrowDiaries puts it at 70/30 indica.
Pacific Reserve sells the effect as a beautiful, spacey high, and its product copy jokes that Productivity Crasher would have been a fitting name. The Highest Critic came away relaxed and giggly, with everything funny and entertaining. Weedmaps describes it as super giggly and highly euphoric.
The flavor follows the Wedding Crasher side more than the GMO side. Pacific Reserve describes a vanilla inhale that gives way to a minty exhale.
