Jokerz Candy is an indica-dominant hybrid bred by Compound Genetics together with Mario Guzman. It crosses Gummiez with Grape Gas, joining a Compound candy line to a grape-and-fuel line built on the same Jet Fuel Gelato base.
The cut now sits archived or retired at several shops. Before that, it reached growers as feminized seed, landed on dispensary shelves in the Northeast, and fathered a string of new Candy crosses from other breeders.
Gummiez and Grape Gas share a Jet Fuel Gelato spine
The first parent, Gummiez, comes from Jet Fuel Gelato crossed with Peach Ringz. Its family tree reaches back through Jet Fuel, Gelato and a mix of OG Kush and Haze lines.
The second parent, Grape Gas, is an S1 of Grape Gasoline credited to True Canna Genetics. Grape Gasoline itself is a Compound creation. The breeder made it by crossing Cannarado's Grape Pie, a Grape Stomper and Cherry Pie cross, with its own Jet Fuel Gelato.
That makes Jet Fuel Gelato a grandparent on both sides of Jokerz Candy. Compound builds its Jet Fuel Gelato from Gelato 45, High Octane and Jet Fuel G6, and the doubled dose runs through the whole cross.
A Grape Gasoline family with famous siblings
Grape Gasoline anchors two Compound seed collections. The breeder describes it as dark purple, round buds with big, frosty calyxes, and credits the plant with strong agronomic traits that make it easy to grow.
From the original Grape Gasoline work, Compound singles out a short list of standout crosses: Pink Certz, Mellowz, El Chivo and Gastro Pop. Jokerz Candy draws on the same Grape Gasoline side through its Grape Gas parent, putting it in the same extended family as those releases.
Compound runs a separate Jokerz collection built on Jokerz #31, a White Runtz and Jet Fuel Gelato phenotype picked from 180 plants at Waverider Nursery in 2020. Jokerz Candy uses different parents, though both lines lean on Jet Fuel Gelato.
Nine weeks, a 3x stretch and dark purple buds
Jokerz Candy flowers in about nine weeks. Heritage Seed Bank lists a 60–65 day window and sold the cultivar in packs of 13 feminized seeds. Kaprikorn rates it easy to grow, with moderate yields and a fit for indoor, light dep and outdoor rooms.
The plant grows with strong vertical vigor, stretching about 3x in early flower, and puts out moderate lateral branches. Growers credit it with natural sturdiness. It takes medium feeding and watering, needs only light pruning, and keeps a canopy manageable enough for most training styles.
The buds finish dense and roughly quarter-sized, in deep green and dark purple. Mature flowers carry sandy trichomes with a light stickiness to the touch.
Solar Cannabis Co. runs and Candy offspring
In the Northeast, Solar Cannabis Co. grew Jokerz Candy for its stores in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Its harvests showed deep purple coloring under heavy trichome coverage, with a spicy, earthy flavor. The company describes a relaxed, lighthearted high, and has since retired the strain from its menu.
Breeders have kept the line moving. Seedfinder lists Jokerz Candy as a parent of Gorilla Candy from Atlas Seed, Grimm Candy from Jared Gundry and Jokerz Gellyz from CHAnetics, along with a cross called Joker Juice.
Those offspring carry the Gummiez and Grape Gas pairing into another generation. Even with the original cut archived at retailers, Jokerz Candy still shows up in the pedigrees of newer candy-and-gas hybrids.
