An Orange County retailer carried the Fresh Baked cut in its Connoisseur tier with the same Orange Juice and Girl Scout Cookies pedigree. That listing put the batch at 34.6% THC and described it as a hybrid that leans indica.
Frost armor and deep purple
West Coast Weed Reviews covered KRD's Orange Cookie Dough in December 2018, after reviewer Ganjazilla bought an eighth at Highway OC. He found buds so dense they had no give to the squeeze at all.
The trichomes were stacked so heavily that he likened them to frost armor. Light and dark greens wove through deep purple hues, with orange hairs running through the structure.
Ganjazilla also noted the price. He called it the most he had ever paid for an eighth in any market, and judged it a premium flower rather than an everyday pick.
Weedmaps describes the same colorful look: purple-tinted buds that can turn nearly black, with orange hairs tucked into green crevices and plenty of bag appeal.
A second look in 2021
The same site returned to the strain in May 2021 with a Fresh Baked jar. That reviewer had heard strong things about KRD's OCD from a friend and went looking for it.
The 2021 batch showed a blend of purples and greens, rusty orange pistils everywhere and a heavy layer of frost. On the palate it came across closer to Wedding Cake than citrus, with the orange note staying subtle.
