Wedding Pie is an indica-dominant hybrid from Cannarado Genetics, the Colorado breeding house founded in 1998. Cannarado crossed JBeezy's Wedding Cake with its own Grape Pie male, joining a California dessert cut with a Colorado grape line.
The strain has a strong competition record. It took first place for sun-grown indica flower at the 2020 Jack Herer Cup in Las Vegas, then third in hybrid flower at the 2021 High Times Cannabis Cup in Nevada.
Wedding Cake over Cannarado's Grape Pie
The mother is Wedding Cake, the Triangle Kush × Animal Mints cross from Seed Junky Genetics. Greenpoint Seeds sums up the pairing as Seed Junky's dessert flagship over the Colorado grape workhorse.
Grape Pie is the Cannarado side. Leafly lists it as Cherry Pie × Grape Stomper, with Grape Stomper coming from Gage Green Group. Leafly describes Grape Pie as a purple strain with a sticky trichome coat.
Seedfinder notes that Cannarado released Wedding Pie only as regular seeds, never feminized. The breeder's description calls for dense indica buds with tight calyx stacking and purple hues.
From Colorado seeds to Jungle Boys
Wedding Pie gained its wider following after Jungle Boys brought it to market in California. Jungle Boys also gave Wedding Cake its name, so the cross returned to the same company that made its mother famous.

Indoor flowering runs 56–63 days, close to Seedfinder's figure of about eight weeks. Outdoor plants finish between late September and early October. Wedding Pie grows indoors or outside and is available as both seeds and clones.

Wedding Night crosses Wedding Cake back to Wedding Pie, so both sides trace to JBeezy's cut. Frozen Custard goes the other direction, pollinating Wedding Pie with the clone-only Animal Cookies.
Those lines keep Cannarado's cross in active use and give growers new seed options built around the same Cake and grape foundation.
