Wizard Fuel is a hybrid from Wizard Trees, the Los Angeles brand, made with the California grower Burning Rope Pharms. It crosses Burning Rope's Rope Fuel with RS11, the Rainbow Sherbet cut Wizard Trees selected.
Wizard Trees Genetics sells it as feminized seed, and the flower has been released as a Wizard Trees × Burning Rope Pharms collaboration. The Highest Critic scored that flower 8.5 out of 10 in September 2024, with a 9.3 for strength.
Rope Fuel from Burning Rope Pharms
Rope Fuel is a Burning Rope Pharms flower, sold in California through the Anti Mids Club. The Highest Critic traces it to OG Kush on one side. A 2023 review of the flower found sharp cherry candy up front with subtle gas behind it.
The same review described a hazy high that left enough clarity to handle business. Burning Rope also sells Rope Fuel as feminized photoperiod seed.
RS11 and the Deep East line
RS11, also called Rainbow Sherbet #11, is the other parent. Leafly credits it to Deo Farms of Oakland, whose name is short for Deep East Oakland. It crosses Pink Guava, from Deo's OZ Kush project, with Sunset Sherbet.
Wizard Trees selected RS11 along with RS-54, and Leafly notes many cultivators grow RS-11 across the US as of 2023. Leafly lists it at 24% THC with a 10-week average flowering time. Deo Farms is also the breeder behind Zoap, another Rainbow Sherbet keeper grown by Wizard Trees.
The Highest Critic traces the full Wizard Fuel lineage to OG Kush on the Rope Fuel side and to OZK, Pink Guava and Sunset Sherbet on the RS11 side. That puts an OG base against the fruit-forward Sherbet family.
Seeds from Wizard Trees Genetics
Wizard Trees Genetics, the brand's seed arm, lists Wizard Fuel as feminized seed in 3- and 6-seed packs. It gives a 9-week flowering time and a medium-to-heavy yield. The seed company keeps addresses in Los Angeles and Barcelona, and the release is currently sold out.
Brazilian seed shop Netseeds carries the same Rope Fuel × RS11 cross from Wizard Trees and Burning Rope Pharms in 6-packs. It lists the plant as a 50/50 hybrid around 20% THC with a flowering time near 8 weeks.
How the collaboration flower scored
The Highest Critic's September 2024 review split the score into six parts. Wizard Fuel earned 9.2 on the nose, 8.5 on flavor, 8.3 on smoothness, 7.6 on ash and 9.3 on strength, for an 8.5 overall.
The buds were medium to hard in density with a hybrid structure. They showed light green with sporadic purple, a pink and violet interior, and a thick, almost white layer of trichomes with few pistils. The ash burned light to medium grey and formed an oil ring right away.
The reviewer tasted RS11's floral sherbet side alongside creamy, chemical and pine OG traits, with guava and cherry on top. The verdict: Wizard Fuel balances both parents well, with room for further refinement.
Leafly lists Wizard Fuel as a 50/50 hybrid around 20% THC. Its users most often report feeling energetic, focused and relaxed, and name tobacco, apple and diesel as the top flavors.
