Emerald Organics is a family-run licensed cannabis microbusiness on land near Briceland in Southern Humboldt County, tucked between the Mattole and Eel Rivers. The farm dates its operation on that land to 2003 and combines sun-grown cultivation, retail delivery and licensed distribution.
Cultivation
Emerald Organics grows by organic and regenerative methods: living soil, raised Hugelkultur beds, compost teas, natural amendments and beneficial biology, with no chemical fertilizers and no pesticides. Federal law leaves USDA organic certification unavailable to marijuana, so the name describes practice rather than certification.
Flower and pre-rolls
The menu runs to flower in eighth-, half-ounce and ounce formats plus pre-rolls. Cultivars have included Candy Runtz, Blue Nerdz, Black Cherry Gelato, Mo' Peaches, Blue Dream, Green Crack, Girl Scout Cookies, Pineapple Candy, G-Runtz, Illemonati and Pinnacle.
Licenses and lab records
Published certificates of analysis identify Emerald Organics, Inc. as a California distributor under C11-0001792-LIC and as a cultivator or manufacturer under C12-0000595-LIC. A 2024 Pinnacle COA names BLM Holdings as cultivator with Emerald Organics as distributor, so product moving through the distribution arm is not always farm-grown.
Delivery and wholesale
The company runs licensed mobile retail delivery for adult-use customers across Southern Humboldt, including Garberville, Redway and Shelter Cove, with scheduled drops further afield. It also sells wholesale to licensed dispensaries and offers logistics and market access to other small cultivators.
Water and land
Emerald Organics runs a flow-augmentation program with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, donating over one million gallons of water a year back to local streams during California's driest months, alongside native plant restoration on the property.
