Emerald Organics is a family-run, sun-grown cannabis farm in Briceland, Southern Humboldt, set between the Mattole and Eel Rivers. The family has worked the land since 2003 and runs it as a licensed microbusiness: estate farm, mobile delivery service and wholesale distributor under one name. California's Department of Cannabis Control showed its microbusiness license active in September 2026.
A Briceland family farm since 2003
The farm sits in a stand of madrone, oak and fir. "Emerald Organics is—and always has been—a family business," the company writes, with the family working side by side and handling every step from seed to sale.
The growing rules are short. No chemical fertilizers and no pesticides, just living soil and organic, regenerative methods from the start. The company describes the property as a sun-grown estate farm and says it has never taken shortcuts with the plant or the planet.
Fog, mountain soil and the Humboldt Effect
Emerald Organics makes its terroir case on a page called The Humboldt Effect. The argument is Southern Humboldt itself: foggy mornings, rugged and mineral-rich mountain soil, filtered spring water, coastal breezes and the daily swing between sun and fog.
The same page leans on the region's history, under the banner "A Legacy Rooted in Rebellion & Reverence." It credits the generations who have cultivated in these hills in harmony with the land.
Illemonati, Blue Slushie and the strain menu
The strain menu runs 15 deep, and every cultivar comes in eighths, half ounces, ounces and pre-rolls. Illemonati crosses Gelonade with Biscotti. Candy Runtz is Zkittlez x Gelato, Blue Nerdz is Blue Sherb x Zkittlez, and G-Runtz pairs Pre-64 Runtz with Gush Mints.
Blue Slushie comes in two numbered cuts, #1 and #2, both from MAC 1 x T.I.T.S. Lantz is Green Lantern x Runtz, Black Cherry Gelato is Acai x Black Cherry Funk, and Super Pop Rocks stacks Zkittlez x Durban Gushers onto Hi Octane OG.
The classics hold a place too. The menu lists Blue Dream, from DJ Short's Blueberry and Santa Cruz Haze, along with Green Crack, Girl Scout Cookies, Lemon Cherry Gelato, Pineapple Candy and Mo' Peaches, a Spanish Barbara x Lemon Tree cross.
Delivery across SoHum and beyond
Emerald Organics sells direct as a licensed mobile retailer with no storefront. Delivery covers Garberville, Redway, Shelter Cove and the rest of Southern Humboldt. The company also runs regular drops to Eureka, South Lake Tahoe and Southern California.
The delivery order form keeps pricing flat. Eighths list at $15, half ounces at $45, ounces at $85 and pre-rolls at $5. The flower side has carried Governmint Oasis, Upgrade, Magic Marker, Bubble Gum Runtz, Gas Tank and Papaya Bomb. Mo' Peaches, Illemonati and Pinnacle show up as pre-roll-only options. Orders run in morning, afternoon and evening windows from 8am to 8pm.
Wholesale and distribution for small farms
The wholesale arm sells to licensed dispensaries and takes on work for other growers. Emerald Organics offers product-to-market help, logistics, compliance support and market access through its buyer network, with reach across Humboldt, Mendocino and the wider California market. That page showcases nine cultivars with certificates of analysis: Government Oasis, Magic Marker, Gelato 33, Gas Tank, Upgrade, Key Lime Jack, Papaya Bomb, Mo' Peaches and Pinnacle. Green Leaf Lab tested a 14-pound batch of Key Lime Jack in September 2024 and a 10-pound batch of Magic Marker in October 2024.
Not every lot is estate-grown. SC Laboratories' October 2024 reports for Pinnacle and Government Oasis name BLM Holdings, another Briceland licensee under cultivation license CCL18-0003193, as cultivator, with Emerald Organics as distributor.
A million gallons back to the creeks
Water goes back downstream, too. Emerald Organics says it returns more than one million gallons of fresh water to local creeks every year through a flow augmentation system, timed for California's driest months to support aquatic habitat.
The company works with the California Department of Fish & Wildlife so the releases meet ecological needs and regulatory standards. Native plant restoration and soil management round out the program, which the company frames as treating the farm as part of a living landscape rather than an isolated plot.
Licenses on file in 2026
The paperwork matches the model. Emerald Organics' certificates of analysis list the company under distribution license C11-0001792-LIC and microbusiness license C12-0000595-LIC, the license the state's premises database showed as active on September 21, 2026. A Bubble Gum Runtz batch of 13 pounds, tested in April 2025, ran under the microbusiness license.
