Verification is central because counterfeits persist
Muha maintains two authentication systems: scratch-off codes for second-generation packages and app-based scanning for third-generation products. The site reports more than two million verifications and 850,000 app members. Licensed California retail
The California Department of Cannabis Control lists Muha Meds Westwood, operated by Trinity Ma Inc. at 2131 Westwood Boulevard in Los Angeles, as an active adult-use and medicinal retailer under license C10-0000179-LIC. Another Colorado Boulevard retail license using the name expired in May 2026, so older store lists should not be treated as current.
The 2023 Michigan safety advisory
In November 2023, Michigan's Cannabis Regulatory Agency suspended processor licenses held by Michigan Investments 10 and issued an advisory covering Muha-branded cartridges, infused pre-rolls and gummies. The products had passed compliance tests, but regulators said their source material could not be traced in Metrc, so origins and safety could not be assured. The licenses were later reinstated after corrective action.
A processor consent order followed
A February 2026 consent order resolved a separate 2025 complaint against Michigan Investments 10's adult-use processor license. The agency found rule violations involving changes to a brand-related agreement that were not properly disclosed and imposed a $3,750 fine. This is a final administrative resolution tied to a licensee making Muha products, not proof that every Muha item was unsafe.
A 2025 retail complaint remains distinct
Michigan regulators also filed an October 2025 formal complaint against BUDBRIDGE LLC doing business as Muha Meds in Ypsilanti. The notice contemplated fines or license sanctions, but expressly states that complaint allegations are not findings. No later public resolution was located in this research pass, so the matter should remain labeled pending rather than converted into a conviction.
What buyers should verify. Muha's real licensed products, wide counterfeit circulation and state-specific license history can all be true at once.
