Vessel Brand makes 510-thread batteries and the accessories around them: pipes, one-hitters, grinders, cases and chargers. James Choe founded it in 2018, and the catalog still leads with industrial design, anodized aluminum, beechwood and magnetic charging. Vessel Brand, Inc. works out of 3230 W Commercial Blvd, Suite 180 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, selling direct at vesselbrand.com and through authorized retailers.
No cannabis passes through the company. Vessel's business is the device.
James Choe and the 2018 launch
Choe was still founder and CEO in November 2021, when Flora Growth Corp. closed a US$30 million acquisition of Vessel: $8.0 million in cash and 4,557,318 Flora shares. The announcement named Garrett Potter as CFO, Jessie Casner as VP of marketing and Jason Choe as VP of performance. It put Vessel's trailing 12-month revenue at $6.6 million, up 90% year over year, built on accounts with US multi-state operators and Canadian licensed producers.
Who holds the brand after September 2025
Ownership moved again in 2025. Flora's annual report for the year ended December 31, 2025, filed February 23, 2026, records the transfer of its legacy hemp and cannabis businesses to Flora Growth US Holdings LLC, the lender, to satisfy promissory notes. Vessel, a Delaware corporation, and Vessel Brand Canada Inc. both appear on the list of transferred subsidiaries. Pro forma statements filed with the SEC put the closing in September 2025.
The battery families
Compass is the flat 510 battery at $45, in stock in Copper and Mojave in September 2026 with Gunmetal and Yosemite sold out, and a $69 Compass Rise in Obsidian above it. The site also lists a Compass Pro. Core is the $35 pen, stocked in seven colorways from Blush to Soleil.
Craftsman is the wood one. The White/Beechwood model runs $79, pairs real beechwood with an anodized aluminum body, holds a 300mAh cell and offers four power settings at 2.4V, 2.8V, 3.2V and 3.6V. It measures 4.3 inches, weighs 29 grams and charges over a magnetic USB cable. Vessel's about page also names Vista, Expedition and Forge collections.
Pipes, grinders and the rest of the catalog
The accessory side is priced like a design catalog. The Pipe series is $70, the one-hitter $65, the Cone $50, a three-pack of Air glass one-hitters $20. Mill grinders in Blackwood and Walnut are $39, Basin storage is $20, Drift and Hub cases are $25. A Carbon lighter and an Ember run $45 each, and the Element bubbler and Ash top the range at $149 and $150.
Charging is sold separately: a $25 Base dock, a $35 Apex and a $12 magnetic cable 2.0, with high-performance butane at $10. A Craftsman ships with the device and one magnetic charging cable, nothing else.
Six months of warranty, and the fine print
Vessel's warranty terms, effective January 1, 2021, cover defects in materials and workmanship for six months from retail purchase, for the original buyer only. Replacement is the remedy: the same model, or a functionally similar product of equal value when the model is gone. Excluded are cosmetic damage, modified or disassembled devices, misuse, flood, fire and normal battery degradation.
Claims go to support@vesselbrand.com with an order number or receipt and a photo or video of the defect. Vessel sends a prepaid label and processes returns within four business days of receiving them. Coverage applies only to purchases from an authorized retailer served by an authorized distributor, which rules out resale sites.
Getting Vessel onto a shelf
Retail accounts need a business license, a reseller permit and a physical storefront; home-based and auction sellers are turned down. Applications run through retail.vesselbrand.com, with questions to support@vesselbrand.com. Shops that would rather not hold inventory can take the affiliate route and earn monthly commissions on referred customers inside a 90-day attribution window.
Where Vessel sits in cannabis hardware
Vessel's 510 batteries land in the same aisle as cartridge hardware from Ooze and G Pen, and DaVinci sells 510 batteries next to its dry-herb devices. The Mill grinder puts Vessel up against machined-aluminum specialists such as Phoenician Grinders.
What the company published in 2026
Vessel runs a blog on its own store, with posts dated through August 17, 2026, most of them hardware how-tos.
