Its biggest mark is as a parent. Maven has used Grape Cuvée to make Pandora and Ube Crème, and Pandora went on to parent Sour Sangria, which ties Grape Cuvée to several generations of the house catalog.

Leafly lists Grape Cuvée as an indica-dominant hybrid from MAC1 and Granimals. Maven's own product listing calls it a potent hybrid cross, and both listings describe dense, heavily frosted flower.
The flavor lands squarely on its name. Leafly calls it straight grape syrup with floral and tart notes, and Maven's listing adds berries on the inhale and a smooth, creamy exhale.
In 2023, Maven brought Grape Cuvée back in its spring strain collection as one of three legacy favorites, alongside Medusa and Sour Sangria. The brand described the pheno-hunt as giving new life to old Maven favorites.
That collection drew on genetics partners SeedJunky, Capulator and Compound Genetics. Its new releases included Ube Crème, Widows Glaze, Goji Berry Runtz, Paradiso and Honey Lemon Hibiscus.
Eggplant-purple buds under milky trichomes

Maven grows it indoors. Forbes reported in 2023 that the company runs three cultivation sites with 1,600 lights, harvests indoors six times a year, hand-trims all flower and gives it a two-week cure.
A heavy body high with a mental lift
Maven describes a stoney haze and heavy body high paired with mentally uplifting effects. The brand sums up the result as a calm and pleasant experience.
Leafly describes tingly, relaxing effects with some mental silliness. Both listings point to a hybrid that sits on the heavier side without shutting down the head.
Pandora, Ube Crème and the next generations
Pandora crosses Kush Mints 11 with Grape Cuvée. Maven released it as the third edition of its limited Black Box Series and describes violet and fuchsia tones over pale green foliage, under a frosty sea of glistening trichomes.
Ube Crème pairs Affogato with Grape Cuvée. Maven lists it as an indica cross at 32.2% THC, with dense, deep purple buds, distinct orange pistils and a thick frosting of pearly trichomes. It debuted in the spring 2023 collection.
Pandora then carried the line forward. Maven crossed it with Yuzu Mac to make Sour Sangria, an award-winning sativa with blue and fuchsia buds, and later crossed Sour Sangria with Twisted Cherries to make Pink Monet.
Maven has cultivated in California since 1993, when co-founder and CEO David Bosworth began growing in the traditional market. Forbes reported 140 cultivars in the brand's breeding vault in 2023. Grape Cuvée has now parented two Maven releases directly and sits behind two more.
