Pandora arrived as the third edition of the brand's limited Black Box Series, and Maven has since moved both Pandora and Grape Cuvee onto its discontinued list.
That makes Sour Sangria one of the surviving places where Black Box work still shows up in a jar. Yuzu Mac is Maven's own sativa from Blueberry Skittles x Blueberry MAC, sold on a citrus-led profile of lemongrass, lemon zest and sweet rind over light gas. Pandora is Maven's Kush Mints 11 x Grape Cuvee hybrid, presented with violet and fuchsia coloring and sweet notes of mint, fruit and pine.
Kush Mints itself traces to Seed Junky Genetics, built from Bubba Kush pollen on the clone-only Animal Mints. So the family tree runs citrus and berry on one side, mint and grape Kush on the other. Maven files the result as sativa, which reads as a call about mental direction rather than a claim about ancestry, because there is real Kush and dessert weight in that pedigree.
The contrast is what to check a jar against: bright and sour at the front, spiced and grounded at the back, with yuzu peel and lemongrass from one parent and grape skin, mint and pine from the other surfacing unevenly run to run. Flower is dense and resinous with vivid blue and fuchsia patches under a heavy trichome coat.
