Zangria is a Wizard Trees cultivar bred with Fiya Farmer, crossing Thin Mint Cookies with the Zkittlez cut Wizard Trees calls The Original Z. The stated goal was a structurally improved Zkittlez: sweet fruit and citrus with an herbal spearmint-and-anise edge, on denser Cookies bones. It later came out as an S1 seed line.
Where It Comes From
Zangria comes out of Wizard Trees, a Los Angeles house whose pattern is collaboration rather than solo breeding. Its Zoap line came from work with Deep East (DEO Farms), and Zangria came from work with Fiya Farmer, with the seed-side framing putting it on the same path Zoap took.
The breeding goal is unusually concrete for a modern candy hybrid. Wizard Trees describes Zangria as an improved Zkittlez in morphology, structure, and production, meaning the Thin Mint side was brought in to fix what Zkittlez is known to struggle with in the room, not just to add cookie character to the jar.
The Cross

Thin Mint is a Girl Scout Cookies selection and contributes mint, dough, earth, and compact resinous structure. The Original Z is the Zkittlez cut itself, supplying the tropical and grape-candy fruit. Zangria S1 is the seed expression, Zangria crossed to itself. An S1 is built to reproduce a selected cut from seed, but individual seedlings still vary, and a seed-grown Zangria is not automatically the clone.
What comes through is sweet fruit and sweet-and-sour citrus pineapple, fresh berries and stone fruit, and a nutty anise turn underneath. The anise is the detail worth remembering. It is what keeps Zangria from reading as another generic candy hybrid, a savory, almost licorice-herbal note under the fruit with spearmint alongside it.
Wizard Trees lists a nine-week indoor flowering window, with outdoor plants finishing in early October. Dense, resin-heavy flower and purple expression are commonly shown, though color is a phenotype-and-environment outcome rather than a guarantee.
On effect this is a wide cut with real phenotype spread. Some of it lands heavy enough for a well-earned siesta, some of it runs productive, awake, and talkative. Dose, tolerance, format, and setting remain decisive, and no potency figure belongs to the name.
