Candy Pavé is a hybrid from Compound Genetics, the breeding house founded in 2017 around the motto Flavors By Design. It crosses Eye Candy with Pavé, two of Compound's own flagship lines.
The standout detail sits in the family tree. Both parents descend from The Menthol, so Candy Pavé carries that Compound cross on both sides of its pedigree. Seed packs have sold for up to $350 for 13 feminized seeds.

The Menthol sits under both parents. It is a four-way stack of Gelato 45, White Diesel, High Octane and Jet Fuel, and in Candy Pavé it shows up twice, once through each parent.

Compound released Candy Pavé as feminized photoperiod seeds in 13-seed packs. Tree Star Seeds listed the pack at $350, while Gaslamp Seeds marked it down to $175 before it sold out.
Tree Star describes an indica-dominant hybrid that flowers in 8–9 weeks with a medium yield. It lists THC at 27–30% and up, and notes the plant can be grown indoors or outdoors.
The finished flower is a looker. Tree Star points to intensely dark, deep purple coloration. That color stands out in a family whose Pavé parent is better known for its frost.
Michigander Fire's cut in Michigan
Candy Pavé has also made its way into finished flower grown by other companies. Michigander Fire, a Michigan craft brand run by Green Mitten Harvest, carries its own Candy Pavé cut and credits Compound Genetics as the breeder.
Michigander Fire describes its flavor as gasoline, Biscotti, cool menthol and graham crackers. That list lines up with the lineage, with Biscotti and The Menthol both showing up in the description.
Most strains on Michigander Fire's menu come from the company's own pheno hunts, with some exotic cultivars sourced from industry partners. The brand sells through multiple retail locations across Michigan.
