Beyond Blueberry is a Wonderbrett pheno-hunt selection whose full parentage the breeder has deliberately never published. Their own genetics page lists it as Sundae Driver and mystery.
Who Makes It
Wonderbrett formalised in 2014, built around co-founder Brett Feldman, who was gifted the original OG Kush cut in 1997 and became a fixture in the LA grower scene through the early 2000s. Cameron Damwijk joined on the engineering side. The Hollywood storefront opened July 2021; cultivation and extraction run from Long Beach. Byrd Seed Genetics is the in-house breeding credit.
The Cross
Wonderbrett's own page gives the lineage as Sundae Driver and mystery. In practice that means it was hunted out of a Sundae Driver line and the rest was never declared.
A third-party review claims it is Grape Pie by Fruity Pebbles OG, pulled from a Cannarado Sundae Driver pack. That is a plausible reading, since Sundae Driver is indeed Cannarado's FPOG by Grape Pie cross. But the breeder's own page does not confirm it.
Critical disambiguation: Beyond Blueberry 2.0 is a different plant. It is Blueberry Purps crossed with Wifi OG, bred by Byrd Seed Genetics, and described explicitly as an update to the original rather than the same cultivar. Neither is related to DJ Short's classic Blueberry.
How It's Made
Live badder is two claims in one name. "Live" means the starting material was frozen at or near harvest instead of dried and cured, preserving volatiles a normal dry would drive off. "Badder" is the finishing texture, produced by whipping or agitating the extract through a low-heat purge until it turns opaque and spreadable.
The two are independent. A live extract can finish as sauce, sugar, or diamonds instead, and a badder can be made from cured material.
Wonderbrett publish the terpene order as pinene, caryophyllene, ocimene, and linalool — a notably pinene-led panel for a berry cultivar.
