How It's Made
Badder — also written batter or budder — is a texture, not a source material. It is made by whipping or agitating the extract during a low-heat purge, working air through it until the concentrate turns opaque, soft, and spreadable. Crumble, by contrast, is purged longer and left undisturbed, which dries it into a brittle honeycomb.
