Eastside MAC Badder is a whipped concentrate built on Capulator's Eastside MAC — Eastside OG crossed with MAC 1. It's a real cultivar with a legible parent on both sides, not a menu name invented at the counter.
Butter and citrus with a sharp edge underneath, and a MAC pedigree that still carries more weight than most things on this shelf.
How It's Made
Badder is produced by agitating extract during a low-heat purge, working air through it until it goes opaque and soft enough to spread across a tool.
The same extract left alone and purged longer dries into crumble. Crystallized instead, it becomes sugar. One starting material, three finishes, and the label on the jar is telling you which route the producer took rather than what went in.
Who Makes It
Eastside MAC comes from Capulator: Eastside OG crossed with MAC 1. The MAC side is the more storied half by a distance.
MAC — Miracle Alien Cookies — is also Capulator's, built from Alien Cookies crossed with a male designated Miracle 15, itself out of a Colombian landrace and Starfighter F2. Alien Cookies traces to Forum GSC crossed with Aliendawg, and Starfighter F2 to Lemon Alien Dawg crossed with Tahoe Alien.
MAC 1 is the Capulator-selected cut, and its distribution was deliberately restricted — released only to growers he chose, to protect how it turned out. It's also a difficult plant: medium yields, eight to nine weeks, unforgiving of sloppy work.
That gatekeeping is a real part of why the name still means something. Capulator's origin story for the Miracle 15 male involves seeds surviving a trip through a washing machine, which is the kind of detail the cut has always travelled with.
On the MAC side the profile runs butter, citrus, and a sharp ammonia note people read either as funk or as a flaw, with something smooth and creamy sitting alongside it. Capulator's own copy for Eastside MAC leans sweet berry into earthy cherry. Most people find it lifts before it settles.

Badder is one finish among several this cultivar shows up in, and the jar in front of you is a batch rather than a standard — no potency figure travels with the name.
MAC's competition placements are attached to grower entries rather than to the breeder: sixteenth in the 2019 Emerald Cup outdoor category, third in the 2019 Karma Cup hybrid category. No award attaches to Eastside MAC itself, or to this jar.
