The Cross
Mochi resolves cleanly. It comes from Sherbinskis in San Francisco, and Mario Guzman authenticates it as Gelato #47 — one of exactly six numbered Gelatos he stands behind. He frames those numbered cuts not as separate crosses but as selected phenotypes of a single cross, Sunset Sherbet × Thin Mint GSC.
Pie OG does not resolve. The strain databases carry OG Pie Breath, Pie Hoe, Pie Face, Pie Eyed, Larry Pie, Ghost Pie, and Double Cherry Pie — but no Pie OG.
There are documented cultivars it could plausibly be shorthand for: Pie Face OG, which is Archive Seed Bank's Cherry Pie × Face Off OG; Ethos Genetics' Cherry Pie OG; or Cannarado's Pie Hoe, a Grape Pie × Tahoe OG.
How It's Made
Crumble is made by purging an extract low and slow and leaving it alone. Without agitation, across an extended low-temperature purge, the material dries and sets brittle, breaking apart rather than stretching. Whip the same extract during the purge and it becomes badder; let cannabinoids crystallize through it and it becomes sugar.
Crumble describes texture only and settles nothing about starting material — fresh-frozen input yields live resin crumble, cured material yields cured resin crumble.
